Qualifier for UMUK 515 (full ultraman-distance). Also, an ideal opportunity for those considering the full ultraman-distance to recce our stunning yet demanding routes.
Perfect introduction to ultra-distance stage racing and the different challenges associated with competing over three consecutive days.
Bridges the gap between iron-distance and ultraman-distance racing.
Beautiful yet brutal courses with no repetition. Just one big loop each day full of incredible scenery.
After each gruelling day, you get a well-deserved rest before tackling the next challenge!
A great weekend away with your mates! (if you choose to bring a support crew… and if not, make some new mates!). No other event comes close in terms of the bond formed between you and your crew over the three days.
Superb and friendly atmosphere as everyone involved in UMUK events – staff, athletes, support crews – is there for the duration of the long weekend.
We can’t guarantee you’ll leave with a finishers’ medal, but we can guarantee you will go home with incredible memories and a load of new friends!
What do I get?
unique and distinct race title owned by only the very few
HOW DO I ENTER?
Entry to UMUK 355 is by invitation only. Organisers will select and invite a maximum of 40 athletes on a first come, first served basis as the applications are received and if otherwise qualified. The selection of invitees will be based upon the experience, qualifications and criteria met for each applicant.
It is recommended that the applicant will have completed at least one iron distance race within the previous 18 months of the event being applied for. Other ultra-distance events are also considered as qualifiers assuming they have distances equal to or greater than iron distances. Other solo long distance events are considered if it is deemed they require the planning and training that would be of benefit to the athlete doing UMUK 355.
Please read carefully our Rules and Regulations, and additional Guidelines before submitting your application.
