The 10 km (6.2 miles) swim in Lake Bala is immediately followed by a single loop (to the west) 145 km (90 miles) bike stage. The bike begins with a circuit of the lake before entering Snowdonia National Park and finishing at Race HQ in Betws-y-Coed.
A single loop (to the south) 275 km (172 miles) bike stage beginning at Race HQ in Betws-y-Coed, taking in the highlights of Snowdonia and the North Wales coastline, and finishing at Race HQ in Betws-y-Coed.
Mt. Snowdon is central to the 85 km (52.4 miles) double-marathon run course. Day 3 begins & ends at Race HQ in Betws-y-Coed.
